Terms, Conditions & Privacy Policy

Massages in BA is a professional mobile massage service operating in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Services are provided at the client's location within the established service zone. By booking a session, purchasing a pack, or subscribing to a membership, the client agrees to the following terms and conditions.

2.1 Single Sessions

ARS prices are reference values based on the current exchange rate ($1,400 ARS/USD). Variations in ARS prices reflect exchange rate fluctuations only — the USD price remains the reference price at all times.

Single sessions are available to everyone — locals, expats, and international visitors.

2.2 Evaluation Pack

Two 40-minute sessions designed to assess the client's body, measure muscular response, and establish a personalized treatment plan.

Price: $96 USD total ($48 per session)

• ·Available to Buenos Aires residents or persons staying a minimum of 3 months in Buenos Aires
• ·One time per client — verified by ID and intake form
• ·7 business days to complete both sessions from date of first session
• ·Valid Monday to Friday, regular hours only
• ·Not valid for late night, weekends, or holidays
• ·Cancellation with 24+ hours notice: no charge, session rescheduled. Cancellation button available in the members page
• ·Cancellation within 24 hours or no-show: session deducted with no refund.
• ·No refunds once purchased

All prices in USD. ARS prices are reference values based on current exchange rate ($1,400 ARS/USD).

• ·All sessions must be booked in advance with a confirmed date and time
• ·Last-minute and same-day requests may incur additional fees depending on availability and location
• ·Important: Therapist availability is not guaranteed. To avoid losing pack sessions, notify at least 5 calendar days before pack expiry to coordinate in time. Sessions that expire due to client-side scheduling delays are not refunded or extended
• ·Members (IC and IC Plus) receive priority access to available slots before non-members
• ·Pack session expiry alerts are sent by email 15 days and 5 days before pack expiry

• ·Cancellation with 24+ hours notice: session rescheduled within active period at no cost. Cancellation button available in the member dashboard
• ·Cancellation within 24 hours: session is deducted from pack or charged in full. If the client has no active pack, the charge applies at the next booking.
• ·No-show: therapist waits up to 20 minutes at the confirmed location. Waiting time is deducted from the session — the session ends at the originally scheduled time regardless. Full session is charged.
• ·Illness with prior notice: session rescheduled within active period at no cost
• ·If therapist cancels: rescheduled at no cost, even if active period has expired
• ·Outstanding balances are stored on the client profile and charged at next booking or next session payment

• ·Client late arrival: session shortened to fit available time. Full booked duration is charged
• ·Therapist delay: client is only charged for actual session time received
• ·No-show waiting time (up to 20 min) is deducted from session duration — the session ends at the originally scheduled time

All surcharges are calculated on the base session rate of the applicable tier.

• ·Multiple surcharges may apply simultaneously
• ·Weekend and holiday surcharges apply even if client has an active pack — the difference is charged separately
• ·All surcharges are non-negotiable and non-refundable

• ·Grabify ACH payments must be made at least 3 business days before the session.
• ·Membership payments: electronic methods only — no cash accepted
• ·Pack payments: cash accepted

• ·Full payment required on first session. Packs can be paid in cash
• ·Available to everyone — locals, expats, and international visitors. Only the Evaluation Pack requires Buenos Aires residency or a minimum 3-month stay.
• ·Sessions expire at the end of the stated period — no rollover, no extension, no refund for unused sessions. Pack expiry date is visible in the member dashboard. An automatic email reminder is sent 5 days before expiry.
• ·All packs non-transferable unless otherwise stated
• ·Flex Packs (IC Plus exclusive): valid for 3 months from purchase. Membership must remain active to access Flex Pack sessions. If the IC Plus membership expires, the Flex Pack is forfeited with no refund
• ·Prices locked at time of purchase — rate increases do not affect already purchased packs
• ·+30% surcharge applies for weekend/holiday sessions even with an active pack — not included in the base pack price
• ·Sessions must be scheduled at least 5 calendar days before pack expiry to ensure availability

Members with an active pack can purchase up to 2 additional sessions per active period at their current pack price.

• ·Extra sessions subject to same cancellation and surcharge policies
• ·Do not extend active pack period
• ·Maximum 2 per active period regardless of pack type

Health and physical condition information is collected because massage therapy may be contraindicated or harmful in the presence of certain symptoms, pathologies, or medical conditions. The therapist must be informed in order to adapt the treatment, prevent injury, and ensure the session produces the intended therapeutic effect rather than an adverse one.

Clients must inform the therapist of:

• ·Any injury, recent surgery, or physical limitation
• ·Existing medical conditions or diagnosed pathologies
• ·Medications that may affect sensitivity or circulation
• ·Any areas to avoid

• ·Arrive clean or freshly showered
• ·Avoid intense physical activity on the same day
• ·Avoid heavy meals immediately before the session
• ·No alcohol or substances that may alter body sensitivity
• ·Inform therapist of any injury, surgery, condition, or physical limitation before the session begins

• ·Drink plenty of water — helps flush metabolic byproducts and supports muscle recovery
• ·Rest and avoid intense activity for at least a few hours
• ·Post-session soreness is normal after deep tissue or sports massage — may last 24 to 48 hours
• ·If training the day after, consider light mobility work instead of high-intensity exercise

Standard service area — no travel surcharge:

Sessions outside this area may include a travel surcharge — confirm location when booking.

• ·ARS prices are reference values based on current exchange rate ($1,400 ARS/USD) — variations reflect exchange rate fluctuations only
• ·Rate increases occur approximately twice a year, around March and November, with a minimum increase of ~15%
• ·Already purchased packs are not affected by rate increases — price locked at time of purchase
• ·Membership prices may be updated with 30 days prior notice to active members

16.1 Data We Collect

• ·Full name, contact info (phone, email, WhatsApp)
• ·ID or passport number (Evaluation Pack verification and membership registration)
• ·Location and address for session delivery
• ·Health information provided voluntarily — collected because massage therapy may be contraindicated or harmful in the presence of certain symptoms or medical conditions. The therapist must be informed to adapt treatment and prevent injury.
• ·Payment information processed through third-party platforms

16.2 How We Use Your Data

• ·Session scheduling and confirmation
• ·Identity verification (Evaluation Pack, memberships)
• ·Membership and pack management

• ·Sending confirmations and reminders

16.3 Data Storage & Security

• ·Client data stored securely and not shared with third parties except as required for payment processing
• ·Health information treated as confidential and used solely for treatment purposes

16.4 Client Rights

• ·Clients may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data at any time
• ·Deletion requests can be submitted via the member dashboard or by contacting via email

16.5 Third-Party Platforms

• ·PayPal (international payment processing)
• ·MercadoPago (local payment processing and subscriptions)
• ·Banco Galicia (bank transfers)
• ·Grabify (international ACH transfers)
• ·WhatsApp (client communication)
• ·Google (analytics and advertising conversions)
